Websites for Canberra pubs, restaurants, cafés and gyms
The booking call comes in the middle of service. The menu lives in a PDF nobody opens on their phone. And Google still has last winter's hours. We fix all three, and keep them fixed.
What lands on your phone when you can't pick up.
What we fix
You want the function booking. It rang during service.
Every call you can't take gets a text back from your venue straight away, and you get the message written out, so the 40th goes in the book instead of to the place down the road.
You want people to know what's on before they ring.
The menu, the specials and the timetable go on the page as text, readable on a phone and by Google, and we keep them current when you change them. You can update them yourself too.
You don't want Google saying you're open when you're not.
Your Google Business Profile (it used to be called Google My Business) gets the right hours, holiday hours and photos, and we check it every month.
Our work

The Den Canberra
Strength and conditioning gym, Deakin. Client. Live at thedencanberra.com.
We read every Google review The Den has and found the same sentence again and again: people come for the training and stay for the hour where they can't think about anything else. So that's the headline. The whole site is written from what their own members already say, not from what a gym is supposed to say.
"I am absolutely speechless... my mind is blown. It looks brilliant. Kai is an internet superhero!"
"Brilliant work, Kai. So thankful. You make us look good."
"Looks amazing. Still so thankful."

Kodiak Bar
Bar and restaurant, Kingston. Client. New site going live soon.
Kodiak had the room, the fire pit and the crowd. What it didn't have was a page that made a stranger want to book one. We built the site around the two things people actually arrive looking for, a table tonight or the whole venue for an end-of-year function, and put the menu on the page where Google can read it, instead of inside a PDF.
One price. Nothing hidden.

What Looked After fixes
- People find you and ring you: your website and Google listing, built around what your customers look for and kept current every month.
- No more jobs lost to missed calls: every caller gets a text back, and you get their message with a button to ring them.
- More Google reviews, none left unanswered: every customer asked, and you approve any reply to a bad one.
- Nothing held hostage: the domain is in your name, and the site, words and photos are yours.
Ring it yourself.
Nobody will answer. That's the point.
0495 032 269We use your number to send you one text, and nothing else.
- Ring from your mobile, with your number showing.
- Leave a message saying what you need, the way a customer would.
- Hang up and watch your phone. That text is what your customers would get.
What owners ask us
Can my staff change the menu and what's on?
Yes. Venue sites come with a simple editor for the menu, what's on and the hours, so whoever's on can change them from a phone. The changes go straight onto the page.
What happens to calls during service?
In opening hours your number rings as normal. If nobody can get to it, the caller gets a text from the venue and you get their message written out with a button to ring them back. After close, it goes straight to the message and the same thing happens.
Who owns the website if I leave?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, and the site, the words and the photos are yours. If you ever leave, all of it goes with you, including your enquiry history.
Want to see your own business done properly?
Tell Kai about the business. He'll come back with something to look at, not a proposal to read.
